Atlantic Academy has comprehensive plans in place, to support learners who may not be able to attend school due to Covid-19 requirements. This includes:
- students who are asked to self isolate following a positive test result
- those living in a household of someone with Covid-19 symptoms, who is awaiting a test result
- students who have been identified as close contacts of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19
- full or partial school closures as a result of national or local advice from Public Health or the Department for Education
At Atlantic Academy we use the google classroom platform for sharing work with students, as well as hosting live lessons and assessment materials. Parents have been invited to become classroom guardians to be able to see work which is set for students. A parents guide to google classroom is included here.
