Procedures are now in place for the regular testing of staff and students for coronavirus. We hope that identification of asymptomatic individuals, along with the lockdown arrangements and vaccination programme, will reduce community transmission of Covid-19.
Consent needs to be obtained prior to any testing being carried out, as well as recording details of the email and mobile phone number for reporting of the test result when we register each test. Information on the testing procedure, as well as supporting students with on site walk throughs, have been provided to help prepare students and staff.
All of the staff involved in the test process have completed the NHS training programme, and our on site provision has been tested before use.
