Atlantic Academy is part of the Launceston College Multi-Academy Trust, which aims for young people to become happy, responsible and successful by learning the knowledge, skills and value which are important for society. The Trust comprises of 3 secondary schools and 3 primaries; the Launceston College Primary Campus is currently being developed as a new primary school to serve the town of Launceston. The 3 secondary schools, Launceston College, Bideford College and Atlantic Academy, work closely together to ensure that all students have access to high quality education which prepares them for future life.

Local Governing Body
We will be recruiting members for the Local Governing Body of Atlantic Academy. The focus of this body will be the teaching and learning taking place at Atlantic Academy; members of the Atlantic Academy Local Governing Body may also be asked to sit on the MAT board and MAT finance, assets and audit committee.
Currently, we are working with members of the MAT board to ensure Atlantic Academy continues to improve in all aspects of it’s operation, and we welcome Governors to the site to support their monitoring.

Ready to learn
All students should be ready to learn. They will show this by:
- Being smartly dressed in the correct uniform
- Being on time for school and lessons
- Having the correct equipment and resources for each lesson.

From February half term, all staff will be using the eContact book to share homework information with students. Students need to log in using their google passwords, and the site can be accessed by following this link.
Please contact the office should students have difficulty logging on, we are working to resolve parental log in difficulties.
