Atlantic Academy is part of the Launceston College Multi-Academy Trust, which aims for young people to become happy, responsible and successful by learning the knowledge, skills and value which are important for society. The Trust comprises of 3 secondary schools and 3 primaries; the Launceston College Primary School is currently being developed as a new primary school to serve the town of Launceston. The 3 secondary schools, Launceston College, Bideford College and Atlantic Academy, work closely together to ensure that all students have access to high quality education which prepares them for future life.

Local Governing Body
Our Local Governing Body (LGB) is now operational, and details of current members can be found on the Local Governing Body page. We would still like to recruit new members to the Atlantic Academy LGB; the focus of this body will be the teaching and learning taking place at Atlantic Academy. Ready to learn
All students should be ready to learn. They will show this by:
- Being smartly dressed in the correct uniform
- Being on time for school and lessons
- Having the correct equipment and resources for each lesson.

School meals are booked and paid for via through the school gateway app, as they are freshly cooked to order. Free school meals pupils should also book thier lunches in this way. Please ensure you have booked a meal no later than 9am each day; meals can also be booked half termly in advance. For information on the canteen, visit the canteen page.
Following the success of google classroom as a vehicle for setting home learning during the period of partial school closure, we will be using this as our main mechanism to share resources and home learning with pupils. We will shortly be opening up access for parents.
